I have been painting for as long as I can remember, but throughout high school, art shifted from something I appreciated, to something I felt, studied, and understood in my own way. The freedom of playing with color has always brought me joy, and as I developed my own artistic style, I leaned into a synthesis of abstraction and more rendered works. This allowed me to balance raw emotion with observant admiration. The blend of nature and human experience is an ongoing exploration in my work, and I have fallen in love with the process of creating a visual representation of such things. 

As I continue to paint, I become more convinced that beauty surrounds us in ways we don’t often recognize until they’re on a canvas. Painting makes room for me to pause and notice those things. My hope is to create a space where awe, faith, love, and joy are made easy and accessible through the presence of art.
